What is Desktop Client ? Why do we need it ?
The desktop client is a separate application that needs to be downloaded and installed on your computer. The client application is only available for desktop computers, not mobile devices.

Why do we need desktop client ?
Nischi's general goal is to help you improve your English without spending additional time on it. Working professionals and college students often give up their plans for improving their English due to having to spend extra time on that.
With Nischi, you can improve your English without spending more time on it. How cool is that ?
Another benefit of Nischi is that it tracks words based on your preferences. As a result, you won't be seeing pre-configured words in the application, instead, those words are being collected from around your environment.
When you do one of the following activities, you need decktop client to track unknown vocabulary:
- When you are in an online discussion (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom etc)
- When you and your colleagues are having an offline discussion
- While watching a movie, TV show, or any video on YouTube, Netflix, etc.
- As you read books, articles or blogs on the Internet
As long as you are in one of the above activities, you can record the discussion in Nischi. Nischi will help you discover unknown words. Later, you can study them at your convenience.
Installing desktop client
Once you have downloaded the desktop client, you can click on it to begin installation. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
This login screen appears when you open the application. Click the Signin with browser button.
You can access this home page after successfully signing in.
